Why AccessNearby

Most accessibility databases are either out-of-date municipal lists or commercial directories that don't verify what they publish. People with mobility, hearing, or sensory differences need real, recent answers — not "we think there's a ramp."

AccessNearby publishes facts that are last-verified, attributable, and easy to suggest edits to. Every page tells you when it was checked, by whom, and lets you flag what's wrong.

Our rules

• Every page has a last-verified date. Stale data gets unpublished, not paved over.
• Owner-verified vs visitor-verified is shown. Both count, neither dominates.
• No paid placements that mislead. Featured and claimed listings are clearly marked.
• Suggest-an-edit on every page. We trust the people who actually visit.
